I just want to (belatedly; my daughter was born Friday) chime in on this: As I've mentioned before, our primary DNS runs on a WGS 6150 (6100/66 with L2 cache) with 72 Mb RAM. It is more than adequate for DNS resolution, but once you're hosting hundreds of domains the admin is very slow at bringing up the zone list. This is the only reason this machine will be getting upgraded, and as such it's a bit of a shame. If 3.0 sped this up dramatically, we'd leave it alone.
