If you don't care about actually changing the URL with a redirect, you could
avoid some of the work by just pointing each domain to the same directory in
WebStar's virtual domains setup. If this collection of domains all use the
same IP, and no other sites use that IP, you can set up a single virtual
domain by IP.
I do a combination of the above to map a variety of similar domains to the
same data.
