ongoing issues. From: Joe LeBlanc Date: Thursday, April 13, 2000
Time: 6:25:19 pmA number of ISPs and individuals around the net cannot resolve some of the
domains I am hosting. When I query my server about any of the domains, it
works fine, but other DNS servers can't seem to look up A-records.
I have a blue/white G3 running as 4 different IP address, 2 of which are
used as primary and secondary name servers (inoa1.dangerisland.com,
216.231.60.240 & inoa2.dangerisland.com, 216.231.60.241) I can see in the
log that sometimes an outside host will query the server up to 10 times in a
row, which might be a bit of a clue. The server is also heavily used for web
serving. I am using the latest version on QuickDNS Pro.
Any ideas? my customers are going nuts, and it's so sporadic, it's hard to
determine what is going on.
