Search Again: Can''t resolve the name of a Mail Server From: Philip Butler Date: Tuesday, April 18, 2000 Time: 9:58:22 am I can see the server over the web using the ip address, but I can't use the name of the server. I have made DNS address records for the server but still I can't see the server using its name on the web. The host name and domain match up to the name of the server. Using IPConfig I am able to verify the name of the server on TCPIP. I can't ping it by name either (I can ping the IP). Any ideas?
