I didn't see that you could credit a referring account with a
month either (I'm sure I have 1.7.3). It looked like you could
give them a number of days and/or a dollar amount. Since every
month has a different amount of days we decided to credit them
with the dollar amount instead. Actually that seems to be a
better idea because some of our customers have domains, extra
emails, etc... We'd rather they not get a free month of
everything, just the equivalent of a dial-up for a month.

On another subject, do customers receive an email to let them
know their payment was received and credited to their account?
That's something that we designed into our crappy Paradox
database we're using now. Customers love it! The post office
often loses mail and we've had customers call in saying "I sent
my check in 2 weeks ago but haven't received the confirmation
from you. Did you get my check?" We don't send invoices to
credit card customers, but we do send them notice when their card
has been charged. It's helpful and customers appreciate it.

Maybe I've overlooked that function in Optigold. If it's not in
there maybe it could be added.
