Unfortunately, this isn't possible with QuickDNS Pro 2.x.
What you're talking about is recursive-resolution access
restrictions. It's akin to relay restrictions in mail server
software. And yes, BIND currently supports this.
There is a work-around, involving adding additional servers. You'd
have one (or two, or more) servers responsible for serving your
domain(s) to the world, which would have recursion completely
disabled. You'd then have one (or more) servers responsible for
recursive resolution. Your firewall or router would then block
incoming new connections to the resolver.
Of course, there isn't an easy way to disable recursion in QuickDNS
Pro. One way is to set it for slave-forwarding, with queries
forwarded to a nonexistent host.
NOTE: If you need to do this, you don't need to buy new licenses of
QuickDNS for the purpose. Just limit yourself to no more than two
resolvers and two public name servers per license.
We will definitely be adding recursion restrictions in QuickDNS Pro
3. It was one of the first additions to the feature list.
