The only problem I found in your two domains is not related to mail:
ftp.caravel.bc.ca. CNAME www2.caravel.bc.ca.
ftp.caravel.bc.ca. CNAME proxy.caravel.bc.ca.
You can't have two CNAME records for a given name. Pick one, and
remove the other.
Both domains have MX records that point to ns1.caravel.bc.ca, your
mail/DNS server. This name has an appropriate A record. So if you're
having mail problems, the next likely thing to check is the mail
server config - is it set to accept mail for both domains?
If that's not the problem, then what is the name of the domain having
trouble sending mail to you? What name server are they using for
resolution? Can I query it? There may be something misconfigured on
it that is causing this.
