Aha! That would 'splain it. Used to be NetSol's Whois database had a status
field that showed things like if a domain had a hold on it (for non-payment,
etc.). I guess they can't be bothered with that kind of trivial stuff any
more... Maybe they justify dropping it as a 'privacy' thing, but IIRC they
didn't ever specify the reason for a hold, just that one existed.
