Redoing the new-account telnet session

When you create a new account the account goes into the pending list and
then you can choose to use the telnet to add him to the server.
Now if something went wrong with the telnet session is there a way to have
it do the telnet session for "new account" again?
We thought that in earlier versions (we just upgraded to 1.7.4) you could
set the account on pending, go to the Pending Accounts and approve it and
then use the Server Account Entry to redo the telnet session.
Now if you approve it in Pending Accounts it doesn't go into the Server
Account Entry.
