Look into SIMS <http://www.stalker.com/SIMS/>. It's free and can easily be
secured so that it passes ORBS' relay tests. It also has a load of anti-spam
features to stop incoming spam. The commercial versions of EIMS does too, but
SIMS is free. Sorry about another off-topic post on this thread, but since you
brought it up, I thought it deserved to be said.

AFAIK, ORBS is simply overly fanatical about ridding the internet of spam. A
noble goal if not taken to such an extreme. There are piles of mail servers
not on ORBS that run free software (sendmail, SIMS, etc.), so I doubt there's
any financial motive at work.

My initial reply to this thread addressed the DNS aspect of the question and
was thus, cleverly, on-topic... ;-)
