MX chains? From: Stonewall Ballard Date: Thursday, June 8, 2000
Time: 9:43:40 amThis may be a bit OT. If so, I apologize.
Can someone tell me what happens if there's a chain of MX records?
For example, domain A has an MX record for host B, but B has a high
priority MX record for host C and a low priority MX record for
itself. Like this:
A MX 10 B
B MX 10 C
B MX 20 B
Is it possible for mail being sent to A to be handled by C?
TIA for an answer.
