We haven't seen crashing problems from this type of setup. The only
problem we've seen is where QuickDNS replies from a different source
IP than the IP to which a query is sent.
On the other hand, I'm not one to rule anything out just because it
hasn't been reported before. Is there any reason why the machine
needs to have two IP addresses?
How much memory is free on the machine? You mentioned 80 MB of the
availabl 128 going to server apps, which only leaves 48 for the
system. If you have virtual memory off, in my experience, the system
won't fit in 48 MB. Could the system be running out of memory? If so,
try decreasing the allocation to QuickDNS - it probably doesn't need
more than 5 MB, in reality, especially if you're not using it to
resolve outside names.
You might also want to follow up with Stalker - I notice the "b" in
the version string.
