Yes. On machines that I use TB2 with, I install only the drop-ins =
necessary
for Control and Observe access (I don't need to do Exchange via TB2). =
I've
never upgraded TB2 past v 4.0.6, even on OS 9 machines, and have never =
seen a
problem with it.

A start-up script that launches server apps in a controlled order is a =
very
good idea. Many people who serve FileMaker Pro databases with WebSTAR =
also
have their start-up scripts open any necessary database files. If you =
use Keep
It Up, you'll probably want to have your script launch it last, so that =
KIU
will not override your scripted launch order (KIU automagically =
launches any
items in its watch folder when it starts up).
