FatBits, as I recall, was a feature lifted from MacPaint (one of the two or
three original Macintosh applications). I know that MacPaint had something
like it, but SuperPaint might have improved upon it. Font/DA Mover I knew
altogether more intimately than was really good for anyone's health... 8^)
I also remember learning myself up enough PostScript to write my own page
descriptions (for an original LaserWriter, of course) before there were any
PostScript drawing apps like Illustrator and Freehand to do it for me. But
now we're so far off topic that I feel Chris Buxton bearing down on us to
squash us like the cyber-bugs that we are. Maybe we need a
Mac-old-farts-nostalgia-talk list to move this to... ;-)
