OK, you got me there. But then, presumably, you need to have all your
mail servers configured to relay mail for authorized users; how does
a backup mail server authorize users? RADIUS?

OK. If Eudora is configured this way, then check out your MX records;
an easy way to do this is to enter all your domains into DNS Expert
Pro and analyze them (possibly using a customized analysis setting,
to speed things up).
