DNSexpert and open relays....From: Joseph D''Andrea Date: Saturday, July 1, 2000
Time: 9:26:23 amOne of my clients tells me that DNSExpert always reports his primary
mail server as an open relay even though he has it bolted down
tighter then Fort Knox. I've tried to send mail through it as if I
were not trusted, and can't. So I'm wondering if DNSExpert is
reporting this because the machine the is running dnsexpert is in the
"client IP list" or is it because dnsExpert is doing some checking
that the MTA (SIMS) doesn't protect against.
