Search Again: OT: QDNS box died! From: andrew Date: Sunday, July 9, 2000 Time: 10:25:29 am Hi All: I've a WGS 7250 that's been running Quick DNS for about two years solid...suddenly the machine just froze...but I was able to reboot it using the 3-fingered salute. However, now it won't restart...no startup chime, no nothing...I pulled all the ram and vram out, reseated the 10/100 network card, disconnected the internal SCSI from the MB...still nothing. Nothing else is connected to the box. The harddrives spin up (I left the power connectors on), the power light on the front comes on, but no startup chime, the video doesn't initialize, nothing. I've never seen this behavior before...would a dead battery do this? Any help would be appreciated. Andrew Kagan
