Duplicating domain filesFrom: Ed Morey Date: Monday, September 11, 2000
Time: 2:57:41 pmHello fellow Quick DNSers
I was bored by having to create secondary DNS entries and thought to myself
that if I used AppleShare between my Primary and Secondary DNS and then used
the Apple synchronise utility to copy Primary data from the Primary to the
Secondary (in effect having 2 x Primary DNS) that this would negate the need
to create the secondary DNS entries.
This actually works quite well but the synchronise tool cannot be told to
only sync two folders if the contents of the master folder change and I
don't think that obsolete files get deleted either.
Has anyone found a more elegant solution for this?
