Receipt (and Invoice) Layouts? From: Michael Reid Date: Tuesday, October 3, 2000
Time: 5:12:29 pmHi,
I'm a relative newbie to Optigold, in addition to the fact that I'm
currently migrating from ISP-Billing after shaping my company's
database needs around it for the past 2.5 years, so I probably have a
lot of mental blocks in the way I expect databases like these are
supposed to work.
(Please feel free, you other ISP-Billing converts, to send me your
tips and experiences regarding this new learning curve)...
What I'm writing about... for now, is the receipt layout for printed
receipts. Here is a snippet from a recent discussion with Support
Services, Digital Point Solutions:

I'm not sure, you may want to ask on the discussion list to see what other
ISPs are doing. I would guess most just email them only.

So here I am, soliciting comments from other ISPs that use Optigold
as to how they format their printed receipts. Also, with regard to
the Invoice layout, how many of you ISPs use the default layout on
plain paper or use custom pre-printed sheets?
Thanks...
