OG Web ServerFrom: John McDowall (Oz Online Inc.) Date: Wednesday, October 4, 2000

Hi,
Having a problem with the OG web server... When we log in with
the web user from the server it takes forever for it to open the OG files
and uses 100% CPU while doing so which causes our client machines to crawl
when trying to access the database. This is also the case after the web
interface is up and someone logs into it, again 100% CPU usage and problems
accessing the database from client machines. If the web interface is idle
there are no problems. OG resided on it's own server with nothing else on
it and runs Win2000 server. The version of OG we are running is 2.5.1 Any
ideas as to what is causing this and how to fix it?
On another note the backup feature in the FM server does not seem
to work over a mapped network drive, it always says that the path does not
exist, but it does! If I just copy files to the mapped drive they transfer
fine. If we backup to a local drive on the server it works fine. Any
idea why it does not seem to like mapped drives for backup?
Sincerely,
John McDowall
