Hi Matt,
I believe that. A couple of things though.... I was hoping to find a
quick (minimal?) setup guide, and also, I don't want to stuff envelopes at
all. :-) Rather, have the invoice emailed to all my customers.
Did you have some sort of export (or import) method to dump your users from
Quickbooks into Optigold?
Thanks
Sam

You won't find a less expensive solution that can do half of what Optigold
does. Just so you know, that 30-45 hours will turn into the amount of time
it takes to fold and stuff envelopes. You should be able to do all your
users and run CC manually all in one day no problem. I also converted from
QB.

Subject: [Optigold ISP] Quick Setup
Hello,
I run a small ISP (about 550 users). I would really like to use Optigold
for my billing. I downloaded it this past weekend and looked at the
docs....370+ pages! A bit overwhelming.
Optigold looks like a very powerful program. In all honesty, I don't need
all the bells and whistles....I just need something to keep track of who
owes what, send out bills via email each month, receive payments, and make
deposits. It doesn't even really need to keep track of expenses, though
that would be nice. I manually take care of shutting people off if they
don't pay, creating users, deleting users, etc. I have no employees, no
need to be clocking in and out, etc. I'm currently using Quickbooks. It
works fine, except that it takes me about 35 - 40 hours to do billing.
Is there a Reader's Digest version of the docs that I can use for something
like this?
Thanks
Sam
