Re: Quick DNS FreesesFrom: Mark S. Edwards Date: Wednesday, October 11, 2000
Time: 9:29:42 amI've run QDNS on a Centris 610 (sys 8.1), along with Cybergauge doing some
bandwidth monitoring on our router, I run it as a separate process on a
webstar machine, which was a 601 100MHz (9.0.4 believe it or not), and on a
G3/266 with 8.6 and 9.0.4 that was being used as a separate liststar or
webstar machine.
I have yet to have a single problem with QDNS, after almost a year of
continuous operation. The Centris machine is still running, and hasnt been
rebooted in ages, months, it only gets rebooted when I have to play with the
position in the rack, or when power outages occur - which arent too frequent
as my power lines are underground in DC.
So, weve been extremely happy.
