WebServer Responce time

First let me tell you how great we think your product is. We have a
demo version for the current month and will purchase the product at the
end of the evaluation. We have gone ahead with the purchase of the
Filemaker products, server, clients and unlimited. Server is on a 2000
NT machine and we are testing the unlimited on a smaller machine which
is an HP 64 meg 20 gig, MS ME opr system. We have a NetForce 1500
Network Storage device from Procom which in the future will handle or
the data files.
Now that you have a little background here's the question. What type of
response time from the webserver, should we expect to see with only one
customer in the database. Currently I'm seeing 13 seconds from time I
enter the username and password, till the screen displays with the
customers record.
What type of min requirements for a base server(s) should we use or
build that would yield better results,? (use 20,000+ users for the
database size)
