I went back to preferences; deleted everything in the sales tax percentage
box; typed in .08; clicked on preferences - in the split second before the
screen vanishes, you see the .08 change to 8.00%.
Then I went and created a new invoice and caluclated sales tax. I still get
the same figure of $159.60.
