In response to my own question, one thing I thought the problem might be
related to is I have a product set as the Default Billing Cycle Product and
the web interface is also asking the salesperson to choose a billing cycle
product so they end up with two products. In the Online Signup options I
have Service Selection Is Mandatory set to "yes" ... could that be causing
at least part of this problem? I'm assuming both of those options would
cause it to add the automatic billing cycle item in addition to whatever
the salesperson is forced to choose.
