Uhmm Visa states that if you sold the product or service online and have a
"trial non pay" period you must notify them via e-mail prior to charging
their card to reduce charge back reuqests. And you need to be able to show
an audit of such e-mail..

The Audit is handled by opti quite well so I am not worried about that..

Visa recomends 5-7 days before charging their card or if the period is less
than 7 days 2 days before charging the card the e-mail is sent..

I just read the darn thing out of their 80 page rule book. No I can not find
the page to quote..
But I know for a fact it is in there.

I know discover is similar that you must notify them before you charge it
but it does not say when..

Aren't you telling them 30 days in advance what the charge is?
I would think that would be sufficient for the visa rule. Is it 'no less'
than 5 of _exactly_ 5 days?
