That's when someone requests a zone transfer, but you have configured
restrictions and their address isn't listed.

>"Failed to lookup SOA info for domain"

This one occurs when your server is configured as secondary for a
domain, but can't contact the primary.

>"Domain 'blah.blah' has expired"

That's bad. It means the primary server has been unreachable for so
long that the secondary server gives up on the domain and stops
serving it.

>"Unable to open file 'blah.blah.hosts'"

This generally indicates that a file for an entry in Secondary
Domains isn't present. Which means that, perhaps, your server hasn't
yet downloaded the domain from the primary server.

>Are the above the important ones? Are there others?

The 2nd and 3rd are important. Also, keep an eye out for the following:

Multiple CNAMES or CNAME and data at "some.domain.name"
Record "some.domain.name" outside domain - ignored
-> These indicate a problem in your zone file.

Error 37 in creating file spec for domain "some.zone"
-> This indicates some problem with the filename for a secondary zone.

Domain "some.zone" not loaded
Insufficient memory to load domain "some.zone"
Unable to allocate TCP listener
Unable to allocate UDP stream
-> These indicate a problem with basic server operation, such as
insufficient memory or another DNS server running on the machine.

>2) What is the source or cause of "A delegation with no NS records from..."?

The server has received a corrupted response from another DNS server.
Similar to "lame delegation" messages.

>3) What causes "Attempting to unload nonexisting domain..."?

Ignore this. It happens on the primary server whenever you save a
change to the domain.

>I can ignore "lame delegation...", can't I?

Yes, unless you want to notify the zone's owner that there's a problem.

>Anyone have any QDNS log wisdom to impart?

You can find explanations of all of these messages in the user manual.
