This is the biggest question I've gotten in the last few weeks... because
right before I did the build of 1.7.7, I was testing it for international
dates... So that's what it's doing. {grin}

ANYWAY... go to Company Preferences and set the City/State Separator to:
', ' (comma+space) and the State/Postal Code separator to : ' ' (2
spaces).

Check the Invoice Setup in maintenance.
