remote admin and "invalid password"

I just upgraded from 2.2.1 to 3.0.1, and everything looks very cool so
far. Unfortunately, I'm seeing a problem where the server appears to not
be storing the admin password, which results in anyone being able to
connect to the server remotely without a password. Any time I quit and
restart QDNS Server, I'm asked to type in a remote password. Even after
doing so, if I try to connect from the Manager, I get a message that my
password is invalid. If I then try to login with no password, I'm able
to connect.

Any thoughts?

In the meantime, I'm forced to turn off Remote for security reasons.

Thanks,
