The decision was made that version 1.5.x of DNS Expert Standard would
be the end of the line.
On the upside, we've removed the demo key mechanism. As of 1.6,
anyone can download DNS Expert and use most of its features free of
charge. However, the analyzer will only work in a demonstration mode
- meaning that the array of tests performed is very limited. So if
you want world class DNS query, ping, and traceroute tools, DNS
Expert 1.6 is the place to get them.
DNS Expert 1.6 is similar to 1.5.x, with the exceptions noted above,
plus fixes for any and all bugs we've run across since the release of
1.5.1, plus two new analysis tests relating to
single-point-of-failure conditions.
