It should not affect the commission process at all, as referrals are
independent of commissions.
If you want to remove the referred by person, you would need to recreate
them. Once the referral is credited, Optigold does not let you change the
referred by person. Mainly to keep an employee from crediting multiple
people for the same referral, etc.
