If so, this is the first we've heard of it.

Any chance you could install MacsBug and capture a standard log for
us at the next crash? Without that, we'll have a hard time finding
the problem.

A word of warning, though: With Mac OS 9.1 and the latest version of
MacsBug, MacsBug may cause crashes. This is purely anecdotal (i.e. we
haven't systematically investigated), but it has been our experience
that 9.1 gets a lot more stable with MacsBug removed.
