Search Again: Planner From: Shawn Hogan Date: Wednesday, December 9, 1998 Time: 8:13:39 pm Okay... time for me to stop thinking for a few minutes... :-) I would just like to know if anyone has ever developed a calendar... {grin} Because whoa momma it's making my brain hurt. First I made the dates plot on a grid (the calendar itself), but then I decided to be fancy and have the calendar dynamically generated so that it would work for any month of any year. So that was a bit obnoxious on my brain and made it hurt a little bit. In fact it worked so good that I decided to get tricky and so now I made it draw a red box around the highlighted date you are working on. Except the box position changes (of course) and then is shifted based on the day of the week that the 1st of that particular month is on. Anyway... back to developing the planner... just needed a second to reflect on what an idiot I am... :-) It's definately interesting though. {grin} It wouldn't be that big of a deal if I hard coded it into some sort of array or something, but then you would have a limition on the months/years it would work for.
