Time: 6:55:28 amTrue. You CAN indeed see this information from the Main Menu. But, that
was their point... most of them don't ever venture all the way out to the
Main Menu in the course of a day and there is no indicator on the Customer
Info screens.

Yes, in the upper right of the main menu, you can see how many messages you
have an how many unread ones you have.
You can go to My Stuff -> Preferences and set the 'Hide New Message Dialog'
to "Yes".
