them for a while and was trying to test it but I get terrible results.
Why Optigold uses its own SMTP to send invoices and it uses this stupid
microsoft way of sending all the other letters? Not that I have anything
against microsoft even tho they sucks. But in any event here is what I have
problems with.
I recently had installed MS outlook Express beta 5, and it right now is
trying to send the past due notices trough outlook express. When I tried ms
mail or internet mail options it took my default outlook express as a mail
reader and totaly got rid of it. Yeach that is the problem with my
configuration I suppose. But nevertheless whe I was finnaly successfull to
send the past due notice back to myself using outlook express I got first of
all message sent under my name and not as I specified support@perfekt.net,
then all the words in message were separated by spaces, there were no
carriage returns nor any kind of formatting. I think Optigold should be
using the same way of sending notices or any emails using SMTP client
instead of using the MS programs to do its job. I know you mentioned
something in the past that if you try to send zilion emails you can jam the
SMTP server or something, so why not give like some kind of a timer, like
say send messages with 5 secs dely, or send messages in some other way.
Invoices go fine, so I think emails should go the same way.
