Are you referring to the security that might be gained from replacing
BIND? There have been an awful lot of vulnerabilities found in BIND
recently.
That's definitely something to think about. If we could write a DNS
server for Linux that had all the features of BIND (including
performance and stability), with none of the problems, that might be
worth something.
