Somehow adding the ability to do quotes from with Optigold. We currently
use an Excel template to do our quotes, but we have to go into the product
list in Optigold to get the products #'s, descriptions, etc. Also, we list
the files by quote number now, and it is hard to track what quote number is
for what customer. Anyways, if there was a way to create quotes for people
listed in the contact manager or even just have a blank field to enter the
quotees (is that a word?) information, that would be very helpful. I'm
sure then there would be ways to track quote numbers and do searches by
quotees information, etc. We (as I'm sure many other companies are doing
as well) have set up an internal fax server, so then we would be able to
just print the quote to our fax server, or have it print regular and fax or
send out in the mail. Perhaps it is not something that would be on the
forefront of additions that you may have listed, but I think it would be a
very valuable addition to Optigold.
Does anyone else agree with this, or do you have some other suggestions for
quote automation? We're sending over a dozen a day, and it's starting to
get difficult to keep up.
