Search Again: QuickDNS & Bind & hidden primary From: Dale Date: Friday, April 6, 2001 Time: 12:29:21 pm Hello all, My DNS is currently provided by my co-location host on QDNS. I also own = QDNS and just upgraded to the 3.01 (in annticipation of 3.5 on Mac OS X). What I would like to do is create a hidden primary on my mail server which = is currently running SuSE PPC Linux. It will later this year migrate to = Mac OS X (Server?) What I would like to do before that time is get copies of all of my zone = files and export them such that I can build BIND zone file(s?). Then my co-= location provider can be secondaries which will allow me to make changes = without bothering them. Once QDNS 3.5 is out and I swap the OS on my = machine things will be much easier. I just need some help getting to the = intermediate step. What do I need to do to accomplish this? Thanks Dale
