I was using multiple A records in each domain I host but recently changed to CNAME records for all but my main domain. The CNAMES all point to the main domain. Each time I have to renumber IP addresses, it's now a matter of changing one zone file, not 50+. I'm about to renumber again -- for the third time in a year. It's quite a nuisance that having CNAMES makes much more bearable.
