I've had this occasionally with v2.x and v3.x, but it's usually
random, and I always assumed it was something having to do with
corrupt TCP/IP settings or my machine setup in geveral. No, stike
that, I think I fixed it once by deleting the QDNS prefs and
reinstalling the server and remote(not the zone files, though). That
time(under 8.6, on a PM8100) it consistently crashed on quit until I
did that(that also fixed a problem in 3.01 where the Remote app would
quit anytime you tried to connect to it. The server was not affected.)

For what it's worth, I've never had QDNS crash while it was
running(and usually when I quit QDNS, it doesn't matter if the
computer crashes because I was going to restart anyway.)
