I have never been able to do this in DNS. On my server that serves virtual
domains, www.domain.com and domain.com are different hosts. This may not be
the case on your server, but I use the Welcome plug-in to accomplish this
with a redirect rule.

<http://welcome.pardeike.net/>

Otherwise a CNAME or additional A record in the zone file for workbook.com
of

www.workbook.com. CNAME workbook.com.

or

www.workbook.com. A 123.456.789.123

should do the trick to point browsers to the correct machine/IP.

Hope this helps;
Jeff
