That works for the index page but not for other URLs, unless you put a
redirect in the workbook.com folder for each page on the www.workbook.com
site. For it to work for all pages (URLs) on the site, you need either
something like a Welcome rule to rewrite and redirect the URLs dynamically, or
an error page for workbook.com that's something like a WebSiphon (or any of
the other dynamic content plug-ins/cgis) script that intelligently redirects
requests to the corresponding www.workbook.com URLs. As another poster has
already pointed out, this is not something that can be handled through DNS --
workbook.com. and www.workbook.com. are different hosts as far as DNS is
concerned. It needs to be done by the web server.
