Re: QuickDNS Pro 3.5From: Men & Mice Support Date: Tuesday, May 8, 2001
Time: 9:22:40 pmSorry for the delayed reply. I was out of the office yesterday and today.
QuickDNS Server for Mac OS X is included in the package that contains
QuickDNS Remote for Mac OS X.
Keep in mind, the Mac OS X version is completely different from the
Mac OS 8/9 version. In particular, it won't read your zone files from
the Mac OS 8/9 version. If you want to convert your data, the easiest
way is:
- Update your Mac OS 8/9 server to 3.5.
- Connect to it with QuickDNS Manager on any of Mac OS 8/9/X.
- Run the included AppleScript named "Export Server Configuration".
- Disconnect from the Mac OS 8/9 server. Connect to the Mac OS X server.
- Run the included AppleScript named "Import Server Configuration".
