The case of the disappearing emailFrom: Sean Stephens Date: Monday, May 14, 2001

I just recently (with the incredible help of QDNS tech support) managed to
switch over my primary name server and mail/web servers to a new location
and IP address.
After two weeks of stress and battles, everything seems to have calmed down
except the following;
1) Many of my clients cannot get to their own web sites (from other dial-up
connections) or send email to ME (and me only). This is intermittent and
illogical, one moment it works, the next, it does not.
2) Some of my emails to my own clients and their emails to me seem to be
disappearing into cyberspace (without getting returned or bouncing around or
any server errors).
3) Some emails sent to multiple address at domains I serve (eg
sean@treefroginteractive.com and dataguy@treefroginteractive.com) get split
up; one will arrive, one will disappear.
Any clues as to what would cause this? I need to at least know for sure
whether or not an email will arrive safe and sound, otherwise my ability to
communicate with my clients will be compromised...
Thanks in advance for the help,
Sean
