No, you don't need a CNAME record to use load balancing for a single
hostname. All you need is a load balance record.

I'm not sure how to interpret the data you entered in your first
message, as it's not in record format. I simply don't have sufficient
context. Perhaps it would be better if you simply copied and pasted
any non-load balance records if you think they're pertinent. (You can
copy and paste from Manager any record type except a load balance
record.)

If you want me to look at your server's configuration, just tell me
the domain name you want me to look for and the name or IP address of
your server.
