Re: Load Balance to set a primary and "backup" server. From: Tony Date: Sunday, May 20, 2001

My Load Balance record is set for www.isadj.com at 10/1
When I enter www.isadj.com in LB tester I get 'Non LB replies' and count
When I enter isadj.com in LB tester I get the IP# and count, but it
runs without ever hitting the second server.
Both web servers are up
QuickDNS Load Balancer is launched in both dns machines (both
machines have been restarted several times) ( Both are 7200's running
QDNS only)
No round-robin
I had four domains with their own LB records that worked fine.
I added some more LB records to other domains and played around with
the cnames when the LB stopped working.
I removed all the new LB records and cnames and still can't get any LB to work
I even deleted the original 4 and re-entered them
I thank you again for your excellent response time and answers
