Now that QDNS runs on mac, the only software I'm waiting for is Office
for OS X. Apart from that I run X all the time, and never have a need
for classic. I'd like palm to come to X, but entourage will do. Other
than that it's made some things heaps easier. You can run the terminal
to do ssh and telnet etc as easy as pie, and RBrowser lets you do sftp
like it's a regular window.

Plus you can run apache, php, mysql, and phpmyadmin like it's a regular
linux box.

The benefits are (I find) outweighing the loss of no native office.
There's heaps of sites that will help you with OSX setup etc. start at
www.macsurfer.com ang go from there.
