That's because prior to 1.8, SMTP was only used for invoices, domain
registrations and one other thing that I forget at the moment.
1.8 adds SMTP functionality to everything that didn't have it before.

I'm not telling. {grin} just kidding... It's pretty self-explanitory.
When you select Replace from the Script dialog, it will open up a dialog
confirming what you are doing, to how many record, what field, etc. Then
you have 3 types of Replacing you can do. (Don't replace with a
calculated result unless you REALLY know what you are doing).
