I would note that I do not see a local host in the host list with the internal DNS name of the mail server. If I add it it shows up as a nonlocal host of course. Local hosts are added automatically. Would it be true to assume that if I had the DNS server configured properly that this internal DNS name would show up automatically as a localhost? 2. I do not have a separate PTR for each Mac.
