Zameer,
Pursuant to our telephone conversation, I was able to find the Perl
script to convert from Bind 4 to Bind 8. It's included with the
distribution.
I also found directions for using it, and a nice description
regarding why it's necessary, here:

Note that I've seen other possible syntax. But the syntax listed on
that page works as well as any.
